Honesty keeps me sleeping well at night

I went to the happiest place on earth today several days ago.  

A place I like to call Tar-shay. 

You might have heard of it?  You might know it better by it’s given name.  Target.

I bought some lovely things for our psuedo desk in our walkway from the laundry room.  You like?  

And here is the “catch all” bin with all the essentials including my handy dandy label maker, which made these….

Ooooooooh…… Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh………..  lol

Sorry for the blurriness.  I got so excited because it cost less than $10!  

I love it all! 

And I have an unnatural love for office supplies.  Pens and highlighters and staplers oh my!

But I also somehow loved a lot of other non essential items purses, hats, and earrings.  Ooops!  haha.

However, after I paid for all of my treasures stuff, I looked at the bottom of my cart and realized with a bit of horror that a pair of earrings wasn’t in the bag.  I was pretty sure that I had inadvertently….*gulp*

Shoplifted.  

Most people would secretly say to themselves “Sweeeeeeeet.  A free pair of earrings!  It’s my lucky day!”.  I’m not one of those people.

I marched all the way back (and it was kindof a long walk) into the store and presented my stolen earrings and my receipt so that I could make sure to pay for said jewelry.  

Was it tremendous what I did?  No.  Would anybody do what I did?  Probably not.

Can I sleep better tonight because I know that I did the right thing?  Absolutely.

Karma baby, karma.
