TODAY’S VERSE: Matthew 25:21

“Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys.” –AMP[3]

TODAY’S MESSAGE

Stewardship is one of those Biblical concepts most people do not fully understand; however, it is **key** to allowing God’s supernatural increase to make itself real in our lives. When we grab hold of the truth that nothing on this earth is really ours, but everything belongs to our Creator, then managing well what we have been entrusted becomes a responsibility we better take seriously.

I’ve also been guilty of not fully understanding and living according to God’s Word in this area. As I look back to my college years and thereafter, I realize how I have made various hasty decisions that violated God’s basic economic principles even without realizing it at the time. And, surely enough, I’ve had to pay for these decisions. But as I also realize God’s awesome grace and mercy to provide us second chances, I rejoice in the blessing of learning through my mistakes and still have a future before me, according to God’s plan and destiny for my life.

So, Brother and Sister, regardless of where you are today, you are still “more than a conqueror through Him who loved you!” (Romans 8:37). Simply ask God forgiveness for not being a faithful steward, and start today searching His guidance daily in order to understand how to wisely manage the resources and relationships you already have. For I’m sure you won’t want to miss out on the Father’s blessing: “‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your Master’s happiness!’ (Matthew 25:21, New International Version)

TODAY’S PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God of second chances. I ask forgiveness and turn back from my unwise ways of handling Your resources, and ask for favor and grace to carry on my responsibility as a faithful steward. Teach me Your ways, Oh Lord, from today forward. In Jesus’ precious name, amen.
