TODAY’S MESSAGE

Since the beginning of time God established ways for us humans to approach and worship Him. In the Old Testament, the sacrifice of animals was the ordained way. After Jesus, these sacrifices are no longer needed. The blood of Jesus was enough to seal that old covenant and deliver a new one.

Today, we still have a deep need to approach God and worship. But, instead of bringing an animal or object to sacrifice, we are asked to **be** our own sacrifice. How? By devoting our everyday lives –everything we do, think, and say– to honoring God and fulfilling His purpose in us. For worship is more than just an occasional experience; true worship is a holistic lifestyle that needs to be manifested daily, a result of our genuine surrender of everything we are for everything God is.

Today, more than ever, God is seeking true worshipers who live and understand this truth about being a “living sacrifice.” Are you ready to be one today?

TODAY’S PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for providing us a way to access Your very presence through the blood of Jesus. From today on I commit my life to be a true worshiper and live my everyday life as a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. In the precious name of Jesus I pray and give thanks, amen.
